I asked about the comradery on board between the crew - three Americans and one Canadian - during the Live Q&A with Artemis II.
“Similar to our countries, physically, this crew is very close,” Pilot Victor Glover said.
“It’s been tough to make fun of him,” Glover added of Hansen. “He got up here and even though he’s Canadian and a first-time flyer, he’s making it look easy.”

BREAKING🚨: The Artemis II astronauts will go through the most tense moment of the mission on April 6, 2026. This is the highlight of the entire mission. The Orion will pass between 6,400 and 9,600 kilometers above the lunar surface.
But there's a detail that makes this moment even more intense: as it passes over the far side of the Moon, the spacecraft will lose communication with Earth for about 30 to 50 minutes, blocked by the Moon itself.
"For the 45 minutes when we'll be closest to the lunar surface, we'll also be out of contact," said Victor Glover, the mission's pilot. "I'd love for the whole world to be cheering and praying for us to reestablish the signal."
During that time, the astronauts will photograph and observe regions of the Moon's far side that have never been seen by human eyes.
The crew will also attempt to capture new images of the so-called Earthrise, the planet emerging over the desolate lunar surface.

The reality is none of us are easy going we all suffer from something so when you meet someone who’s willing to stay committed to understanding you and actually wants to grow with you, don’t let lame stuffs like ego and pride ruin it.

🇺🇸 Some fun facts about NASA’s Artemis II mission:
- It’ll travel 4,000 miles farther than Apollo 13
- First woman ever going into deep space
- Astronauts are bringing their smartphones on board
- The Orion capsule is roughly the size of two minivans
- They’ll have a 41-minute communications blackout behind the Moon
Bonus: They’ll get to watch a total lunar eclipse from space
We’re about to send humans farther from Earth than anyone since 1972 and they’re doing it with phones and a minivan-sized spacecraft.

🇺🇸These four astronauts will fly a 10-day figure-eight trajectory covering nearly 685,000 miles around the far side of the Moon before returning to Earth.
