After 4 months of design and development, I’m happy to announce that Cyber City Orion is now open to visitors! 🎉🥳🏙️✨ Jack in and fly above skyscrapers, parkour across rooftops, blast the arcades, or just take in the vibes. An immersive Blade Runner and Cyberpunk inspired 3D web experience, designed and developed by me from scratch using Blender (including 3D modeling, uv unwrapping, texturing and exporting for web with Draco & KTX2). It’s brought to life with natural language, logical thinking and plenty of debugging and problem solving using Cursor and Three.js. Much time also went into optimization and testing, making sure it runs on most computers and touch devices with 4 selectable graphics presets. Shoutout to everyone behind @Blender, @threejs, @cursor_ai, @GoogleDeepMind, @github and @vercel for making all of this possible — and to all the games and movies that inspired it. 3D Gaussian Splat tech is getting wild. What are the projected real-world practical use cases for it? Off the top of my head: -Real-estate, Airbnb, event spaces -Ecommerce product viz -Virtual camera moves What else?

I understand why you might see similarities, but I had genuinely never seen that site before. The project was inspired by my experience of the Dubai fog from a skyscraper and by these photos. If I had knowingly copied someone else’s work, I wouldn’t have spent a month and a half building it in my free time and publishing it in my portfolio. Doesn't make sense.

@adrianredcom mate, posting google photos won't change the fact the concept is exactly the same, the scroll is exactly the same, the name is exactly the same and so on. Nothing would have happened with some credits, that's it.

Everything you see except the clouds and Burj Khalifa model is a gaussian splat created in @Blender with the SkySplat addon by @kyjohnso and optimized using SuperSplat by @playcanvas.
