i think we gotta move away from the "AI is stealing art" conversation into the more valuable "AI is stealing human resources" conversation. it is far more valuable and tangible to normal people than something as nebulous as art integrity.

Lazy. For years people have been making video games and concepts without relying on AI. You guys are just lazy. Using AI for ideas is still using AI.

I find it interesting that many people see AI in games as okay as long as its used for concept work and doesn't make it into the final game. I just want to remind these people that in game development, there are people who's entire role is to develop concept art/assets.
