The argument for decentralization was never censorship resistance, it was adaptability. Centralized systems are extremely efficient when the environment is stable. They struggle when change comes from directions nobody anticipated. The more intelligence we create, the harder the future becomes to predict. Millions of AI systems making independent decisions will generate behaviors no planner, regulator, or corporation can fully model in advance. In that environment, decentralized systems is the more adaptable strategy.

SK Group and @nvidia are expanding their partnership beyond memory chips to build what they describe as AI factories in South Korea, combining semiconductors, data centers, and AI infrastructure. The announcement highlights how the AI industry is becoming increasingly integrated across the stack. Training a model is only one piece of the equation. Delivering AI requires chips, power, networking, data centers, cloud infrastructure, and the operational systems that connect them together.
