Australia was the greatest place on earth 60's 70's 80's 90's. Inexpensive, uncrowded, self-sufficient, low price housing. Politicians have destroyed it. Now you are fed diversity is our strength . No one wants to live in the past. By Albanese, a former Communist party member. Anyone who lived in those times will tell you how great this country was.

The dark side of Net Zero. An estimated 40,000 child labourers—some as young as seven years old—endure grueling hours for minimal pay in the dangerous conditions of Congo's cobalt mines, extracting the cobalt necessary for electric vehicle batteries and other products.

The worst PM in Australian history makes $622K a year and gets additional perks for life. Albanese earns MORE than: The US President The UK Prime Minister Germany's Chancellor... An average Aussie retiree lives on $30-50K. 🤯👇🏽

Property taxes should be outlawed. And before someone says “aLL tAxEs sHouLd be ouTlaWed” yes, but property taxes in particular are the most unjust. Every other tax is based on a share of a transaction. You always know upfront what this share will be. Property taxes, on the other hand, are based on a “value” assessed by the same entity levying the tax. Your town or county literally “decides” what your property is worth (assessed value) and then demands a share of it, regardless of your ability to pay. Fail to pay and they take the property for themselves. The model is actually worse than an unrealized gains tax; you aren’t just paying the tax on the gain, you are basically paying a percentage of whatever they decide the value is, every year in perpetuity. That’s why it’s is the most unjust tax. That’s why it should be abolished.

The Australian government appears to be running ads in Arabic encouraging non-citizens to use its 5% deposit first home buyers scheme. Your taxes are paying for ads, that aren’t even in English, to put non-citizens in Australian homes. Housing should be prioritised for Australian citizens first. Credit: TheYarn

In 2004, the BBC warned the Maldives were "soon to be uninhabitable," claiming sea levels were rising 0.9 cm per year and that 80% of the islands could vanish within a century. More than two decades later though, reality says otherwise. The Maldives haven't sunk, they've exploded with growth: 12 new airports, expanded international terminals, record tourism of over 2 million visitors a year, and more than 170 resorts, with 7 added in 2024. Instead of disappearing under the waves, this so-called "paradise in peril" has shown no statistically significant sea level rise since the 1980s, according to satellite data. Here we have another 'climate catastrophe' headline completely undone by time.

This 1988 ABC News report hits different in 2026. They warned that man-made CO₂ could raise global temperatures 4 to 9°F (2.2 to 5°C) within 40–60 years — possibly by 2028 or sooner — with melting polar ice caps and calls for global sacrifices, even suggesting we could no longer act primarily as citizens of individual countries. 38 years later, NASA and NOAA data show roughly 2.1–2.3°F (1.2–1.3°C) total warming since the late 1800s, with about 1.1–1.2°F (0.6–0.7°C) since 1988. We’re nowhere near the upper-end catastrophic scenarios they forecasted for this timeframe. History is full of these overreaches. In the 1970s, major media warned of an impending “global cooling” and a new Ice Age. Al Gore famously claimed in 2006 that the Arctic could be ice-free in summer by 2014 (or “within a decade”). These dramatic predictions often grab attention but frequently miss the mark on timing and severity. The clip is a reminder that we should stay humble about long-term climate forecasts. When past high-confidence apocalyptic timelines don’t materialize, it erodes trust. What stands out to you when you watch old climate alarm reports like this?

The NDIS has become a "honey pot" for criminal rorters who are draining the system, making it unsustainable. While thousands of fraud tip-offs pour in, the bureaucracy is failing to prosecute - and the costs are skyrocketing toward $50 billion a year. Every dollar stolen by a rorter is a dollar taken away from a child who needs a wheelchair, or a person in need of basic care. It's simple: if the government doesn't rein in this rampant fraud now, there will be nothing left for Australians who truly need it. We need accountability right now. Not more spending. senroberts.com/4me7UV4

If the taxpayer is paying - then whatever that program is should only be available to citizens. Not permanent residents. Not refugees. Not tourists. Not students. But Australian citizens. Everyone else can pay their own way. That's how it is in other countries.

One of the most economic principles to get into your head: The government has no money of its own. It can only take money by force (taxing), take money from the unborn (borrowing), or make money out of thin air (printing).

One line from Thomas Sowell completely rewired how Konstantin Kisin sees the world: “There are no solutions, only trade-offs.” Kisin says we’ve lost the ability to think like this. We treat every big issue — climate change, the NHS, COVID lockdowns, free speech — as if it has a perfect fix. But every policy, every choice, comes with real costs. Locking down might save some lives but costs others. More free speech means some people will get offended. Trying to “solve” complex problems usually just moves the pain around. The brutal truth? Most of our loud political shouting matches are childish because they pretend one side can magically eliminate problems that are eternal. Once you internalize “no solutions, only trade-offs,” a lot of the noise starts sounding ridiculous. What’s a trade-off you’ve had to accept recently — in politics, health, career, or relationships — that made you realise there really are no pure wins?

As I predicted. There‘s one million new migrants that Albanese imported into Australia his first two years, who will all be eligible to vote at the next Federal election. And Labor‘s number one priority is to get every one of them through a citizenship ceremony and on go the electoral roll.
