@FranckPachot It is 5 char length diff. comparison, not really fair. A brute force cracker with generated / list based passwords, depending of the hash algorithm, can probe roughly about 50k passwords per second with 1x1080Ti GPU. Now, imagine mining rigs decommissioned as of negative profits.

The strongest password may not be what you think. Complexity is not in 'special' characters and mixed cases. Uncommon word combination is stronger and easier to remember.

@boliniak @JimTheWhyGuy @MikeDietrichDE @thatjeffsmith Take a look at EnclaveDB whitepaper and Intel SGX instruction set. Maybe in the future it would be a reasonable security/performance approach for Oracle to avoid access to decrypted user memory content.
