🆘🆘 SPAGHETTI (ID 247935), 4 YO, MALE – IN MANHATTAN ACC - came into the shelter as a stray on 2/19/2026. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿 ➡️TBD 4/18/26 ➡️ NEW HOPE PARTNER RESCUE ONLY ➡️ TOO LOW ON PLEDGES TO STIMULATE RESCUE INTEREST ➡️🆘🆘 6th Chance on Emergency Placement List – VERY RARE – SHELTER AT CAPACITY - COULD BE LAST CALL FOR SPAGHETTI - VERY HIGH EU/SILENT KILL RISK– 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱 ➡️ 57 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT ➡️ SPAGHETTI IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS - He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. He has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 A volunteer writes: When Spaghetti arrived at the Care Center, he came out of his carrier and allowed all handling by our staff. After moving into one of the cat adoption rooms, he seemed to close himself off--tolerating cheek and head scratches from humans but otherwise not showing the same interest he did on his first day. We see many cats like Spaghetti, who become quiet and unsure as they try to acclimate to a strange new environment. We love this tabby boy, who seems to have been well cared for in his previous life. And we want the best for him, which would mean a special adopter who takes a go-slow approach to making Spaghetti feel safe, secure, and cherished. Want to lend a helping hand to a good cat who could use it right now? Spaghetti is waiting to meet you on 110th Street today. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻 NEEDS OUT OF SHELTER ASAP – Please RT or pledge, if you can, to save this little one. @AdamsPaulGrimke @mehser12 💔😿🙏Thank you
