Getting a job then vs now

I keep seeing ppl say this but this isn’t flexing to the ultra wealthy. It’s the equivalent of a middle class family grilling in the backyard on a Saturday. People assume every display of luxury is a performance, when it’s just their version of normal life. The scale is different but the psychology isn’t.
