Every California kid should be able to read by the end of third grade—period. Right now too many aren’t even close. We’re holding schools and teachers accountable, bringing back real standards in math and English, and giving parents more power with school choice and charter schools. Our kids deserve better than 50th-in-the-nation results. Let’s make sure they get the education they need to succeed here at home. ☀️👊

Just so we are clear, no one is saying that SNAP recipients can’t buy junk food. We are simply saying that the taxpayers will no longer be paying for it. Get a job, then buy all the junk food you want, just like every other American family. This shouldn’t be controversial.

Just as Prop A lobbyists promote the bond by bragging “no tax increase,” they conveniently leave out a key detail: bonds are borrowed money, and borrowed money comes with interest. That means taxpayers aren’t just paying back the $535 million from Prop A. They’re also paying interest on top of it, year after year. San Francisco is already paying for over $1.4 billion in ESER bonds approved in 2010, 2014, and 2020, plus decades of interest layered on top. So while the Prop A messaging sounds simple, the long-term cost is anything but. It’s a pattern of asking taxpayers for money, with almost guaranteed approval whenever the ballot says ‘ESER.’ Let’s use our votes to reject funding without results. Stop rewarding lies. Vote NO on Prop A on 6/2/2026.
