@gigicullen0502 @GaryCB1888 The basic offside line here is just a line the VAR slides along to the second last opponent, the two lines is when they use the crosshairs with a vertical component on both attacker and defender.

@GaryCB1888 This was what I was getting at. I've only ever seen an offside VAR call done with 2 lines: 1 for defender and 1 for attacker. By only having 1 line, it leaves it open for debate and for those to incorrectly come to the conclusion that Daizen is offside. No red line = no context

And another thing...they knew exactly what they were doing here by drawing the lines where they did. The lines should have drawn on Osmand not Maeda. They knew the backlash and media frenzy it would cause. Fuel to fire so to speak. Reckless. We see you 👀

@hoddles10 @DavidReid01 When it's a clear offside the VAR doesn't need to use the crosshairs with the vertical component for both players, they just drag the blue line to create the offside line.

I’m sure there’s a reason why VAR issued the picture showing the offside line for the player who didn’t receive the ball. I’ve no idea what the reason is though. #celtic #hearts

@Official_T4O Rules say Spartans should be in the SPFL and Sevco should be in the lower tiers. Rules say titles should be stripped for cheating by financial doping. Rules say clubs should not be allowed to enter European competition with an outstanding non payment of tax 🤷‍♂️.

Rules say Hearts should be given the title after what happened before the final whistle was blown. However, zero chance this SPFL has the spine to implement this decision.

@jimhay123 @WingsScotland Just because you don't know the laws doesn't mean it's bent. The handball v Motherwell was at 94:56 of 5 mins added on. When additional time is allowed for the penalty to be taken, once the penalty kick is complete that is the end of the game (Law 14.1) so no restart was correct.

The 8 minutes is a MINIMUM. There are 32 seconds still to play. The referee is *simply not allowed* to end the game here except by abandonment. It didn’t change the result but there need to be really really serious consequences for this, not a ticking off and a 50 grand fine.

@newcogawaJ @screebs69 The Laws of the Game don’t allow him to blow early. The goal was scored at 7 1/2 minutes at which time the 4th Official confirmed to MON that there was a minute left to play. See last sentence in attachment.

So Don Robertson blew the whistle early because the fans ran on the pitch. So if Rangers are 1-0 up next season in injury time all we need to do is run on the park and the result stands as it was? Oh and a few sly jabs at opposition. Interesting precedent set.

The EU referendum was held after a Tory win with a 36.9% vote share. That referendum pulled Scotland out of the EU against our will.
John Rentoul@JohnRentoul

Given that independence requires a majority of votes, this election is no mandate for another referendum Pro-ind parties (SNP, Green) 40% and 42% (constits and list) Unionist parties (Lab, Reform, Con, LibDem) 58% and 54% #Results" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Scot…

There should be a 1 term only limit on list MSPs. The same people rejected in their constituency election after election shouldn’t be able to sneak in by the back door.

@Dungarbhan Absolute nonsense. Even if all 36,286 Green votes in Mid Scotland and Fife had gone to the SNP for example, the SNP would not have won a list seat. Whereas the Greens only needed 870 more votes (1% of the SNP's list total) to stop the Tories getting a second seat.

And that is why voting SNP 1 and 2 was vital. SNP voters who gave their 2nd vote to the Greens have cost us dearly.

@echetus If you remember the stabbing incident on a LNER train near Peterborough a few months ago, train staff played a crucial role in keeping passengers safe & arranging an emergency stop at Huntingdon. Staffed trains are safer; and regular passengers know this to be so.

We have a brand new railway that has been sat unused for two years because the unions want to double the number of staff required to run them.

From red-light jumping to reckless pavement riding, e-bike use is putting people at risk. I’m calling on Lime, Forest and other e-bike operators to block pavement riding with GPS, enforce tougher penalties and real accountability. Residents deserve SAFER PAVEMENTS🚲
