Hey everyone! 👋 I chose to step away for a few days. It was exactly what my spirit needed—some quiet time to unplug, reflect, and recharge. Kids are good, we're enjoying a nice little family vacation 😎 I hope you're all having a wonderful start to the week! May it be filled with joy, productivity, and moments of unexpected blessing. 🌟🙏 Stepping away from social media every now and then is so important. In our fast-paced, always-connected world, it's easy to feel drained by the constant noise. Taking intentional breaks allows us to reset, gain fresh perspective, and return stronger. As Scripture reminds us: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” — Isaiah 40:31 ❤️ And Jesus invites us: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28 Make time to rest in Him—it’s not just okay, it’s necessary. God bless you all this week! Let’s encourage one another and keep our eyes on what truly matters. 🙌 Moon 🌙

Jumped back on the road to continue our trip a little over 3 hours ago. One mile down the highway, and there's the evil beaver sign. 😱 I look the other way, my boys all at once. "We should probably top off the tank" I reluctantly agreed, 4 gallons of gas, 37 lbs of beef jerky and several hundred dollars later, i escaped. Now my entire dashboard is filled with fudge, flavored nuts, brisket sandwiches and every flavor of Jerky you could imagine. Surely these kids won't (can't) eat all this stuff! They had it planned, as soon as we walked in one distracted me while the others strategically covered both exits to prevent my escape. While im frantically looking for my missing boys, R C. is quietly picking up what seemed like one of everything 🤔 i finally make it halfway through the store and there's a line of shopping carts purposely placed there for "your convenience" as soon as I got the basket my other two boys swooped in like the vultures they are. I made what I thought was a mad dash for the cashier but before it was over I had 3 hats, a beach towel and a box of fudge and a plush beaver for myself? You won this round Buc-ee! I'm sure we'll meet again and I'll be ready 💪 On a good note, looks like we won't have to stop for lunch. Enjoy your day. Moon 🌙
