Ford may have a good reason for dropping the Shelby name.
Apparently, Ford was paying a licensing fee of around $800 per car—which means they spent roughly $30 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯 on licensing between the GT350 and GT500 alone. Yeesh.
