1:1 conferences w/ Ss I posed the ?Why do you like being apart of the Innovation Academy? An 8th gr boy stated: “We all have each other’s backs. It’s like a family. We can have bad days and it’s ok to not be ok.” Building a community even thru bad days @msmid204 @allandavenport

After some research, planning, and coaching from @msmid204 these @GrangerIPSD204 Ss pitched their ideas to the principal @allandavenport . “The worst he can say is no and we just have to keep trying!”

The @GrangerIPSD204 Innovation Academy planned, prepped, and executed a special breakfast for a staff member who made an impact on their life. So many hearts were full by 8:30am! Showing gratitude, strength and kindness! @allandavenport @lowegranger @sfredericks21 @msmid204
