Rejoining Erasmus must be the first step on a clear roadmap to a closer relationship with Europe. We need to see the Government negotiate a bespoke UK-EU customs union, and commit to a youth mobility scheme for benefit of the next generation.

Rejoining Erasmus is a real opportunity to start repairing the disastrous Conservative Brexit deal. We are pleased the government has finally listened to us on that. However it must be a first step on a clear roadmap to a closer relationship with Europe.
