Former Wales international Sam Vokes has announced his retirement from football. Across an incredible 20-year career, he made 600+ appearances spanning the Premier League, EFL, and the international stage securing three promotions along the way. A defining moment came in 2016, when he played a key role in the Wales national team reaching their first-ever major tournament semi-final. He called time on his international career in 2019, finishing with 64 caps for his country. Congratulations on a fantastic career, Sam, and all the best for what’s next 👏
