When I was a missionary 50+ years ago, the mission leaders I got to work with were a husband & wife who, prior to their mission service, had been living as a retired couple on their ranch outside of Pine, AZ. He told me that on one occasion there, he had called up a local service to have a few cords of firewood delivered. He explained to the man that his wife would show him where the wood should be stacked, but that she was hard of hearing, so he’d need to speak loudly to her. About the time the delivery was supposed to take place, he told his wife he had to handle some things in his home office (he was retired FBI/USBP) & asked her to show the guy where the wood should go. But, he said, the guy was hard of hearing, so she’d have to speak loudly. He then retired to his upstairs office, which overlooked the yard, and opened the window a bit. The guy drives up, gets out of his truck, says, “HELLO! ARE YOU MRS. EAGAR?” She says, “YES! LET ME SHOW YOU WHERE THE WOOD SHOULD GO.” They yell a few more sentences at each other, when the wife suddenly stops, scowls, and in a low voice says, “Did my husband tell you I was hard of hearing?” The guy says, “Well, yes.” She whips around and looks daggers up at his office window, where the husband is chuckling. 🤣🤣🤣 They were a wonderful couple. ❤️

It must be heartwarming for the US war fighters to know that if they ever get into a situation where they are trapped in enemy territory, the full weight of the current administration will be felt in order to rescue them. I don't know about you but this just goes to show how this administration cares about every single war fighter out there.
