@JessFink Markoffs Haunted Forest in Maryland does still have some scarier bits where the actors interact with you, but I had a lot of fun when I went with friends a few years ago! They also have mini game type stuff like mazes & hayrides that you can do while waiting for entry

Where I am from on Long Island we would go on a "spook walk" where you basically hike through the woods and there are spooky scenes & ppl. It rules and is usually less yucky that your typical haunted house and I have recently been informed that this is only a Long Island thing??

@LoreWithAnE @aliettedb Adding to this to say there are a couple of autopsy scenes that were a little hard to watch for me. Other than that, there is a lot of on-screen violence but they don't linger on it (firearms, mainly, with blood). That said I also really enjoyed it!
