@Logan9617835242 @total_legend No it didnt. It literally did not. Nobody playing that mission looked up and gave it a second look. On keys you had to double take because it easily looked like the skybox

@total_legend the problem was never the dull coloration, it was that the ship felt dark and ominous, the large shadow looming over the valley like a giant leviathan, the new one feels more flatly presented, seeing the whole thing from the get-go make it feel less threatening

Minor nitpick about the look of the energy sword in Campaign Evolved: its blades are made out of superheated plasma and always had this alien, fluid-like energy pattern. Why the hell does the one in the remake have this retro CRT scanline pattern on it?? Did they forget their own lore and think the blades are made out of holograms?

I don’t like the redesign of the M6 magnum. They updated it to match the more modern redesigns, but it lost everything sleek about the original M6. Guns can have curved edges! Even in the future. Especially if your aesthetics are rooted in cassette futurism. This new redesign would look better with the KFA-X2 scope removed.

Truth and Reconciliation looks pretty ugly though. It's like an AI generated CCS. None of the aura of the lone, dark mesa either.
