Anthropic scrapes copyrighted materials online; creates a model that they charge $$ for; doesn’t compensate for use - apparently this is fair? Now Anthropic complains about other companies paying for model access, to create free models anyone can use - and this is not fair??

We’ve identified industrial-scale distillation attacks on our models by DeepSeek, Moonshot AI, and MiniMax. These labs created over 24,000 fraudulent accounts and generated over 16 million exchanges with Claude, extracting its capabilities to train and improve their own models.

Hey did you see? For the past 7 days, people have been fleeing Discord over data privacy reasons (they are not too fond of the new mandatory age verification it seems). This got me thinking... Could WorkAdventure be a possible replacement?

Got curious how much faster Linux is than macOS for small-file access and creation. The results are shocking: curl -L cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kern… -o linux.tar.xz time tar -xf linux.tar.xz Framework Desktop: 1.6s MBP M4 Pro: 12.2s Over 7x faster on these 90K files!! 🤯

@flwenz @MireloAI @gather_town I was so miserable during Covid times that I built @Workadventure_ (Gather's main competitor) We of course use it internally. We have a team working mostly hybrid with a few people 100% remote. The whole team meets every 2 months and we do seminars once/twice a year.
