3yrs ago....at midnight I was speeding down Thika rd headed to shagz to go see my mum who was unwell.I got to the hospital at 12:30am and found her in a bad state. 1 hr later she rested as my sister and I stood helplessly by her. Continue resting in peace mum.

This is an example of what I mean with Tyler Perry. Not only is this one of my fav Madea moments EVER but a good display of how Tyler uses the character to displace his black southern sissiness. It’s him at his best 💀
Zion 🇸🇩@afroanalytic

Tyler Perry is an excellent study in contradiction because his black southern queerness is the condition of possibility for his success, equally so his detachment FROM his blacksouth queerness. Tyler displaces his suppressed swish & black phaggotry onto Madea

1974 was when the 1st woman was allowed to have a BANK ACCOUNT!😂 I am never buying into the narrative that boy-child is trailing! MEN had a headstart of ONE THOUSAND+ years. Women have only had a quasi-similar playing ground for 50 years, and we are ahead? A man is lying! NOPE!

Over the weekend, I casually attended some event out of boredom and we were like 3 men and a million women. Now I understand why girlies were crying that men don't attend events in Nairobi.

Kim DM’d me in 2020, he had been out of work for sometime and had gotten an interview in Nairobi and didn’t have fare to get to Nairobi from Eldoret. At the time I was hustling hapa na kule and I only managed to send him 2500/-. He got the job. We never spoke until this morning when I woke up to a beautiful message and an MPESA. I’m sharing this to just remind me and anyone else that good deeds do return! Sooner or later. And my mother always says you’ll throw a seed at one end of a stream, it will travel and get back to you from the other end (better said in Kinyore). A very good start of the month. Sings hallelujah😇😇 Kim I know you’ll read this, may your doors keep opening and Gods grace be with you always.

Apparently keeping cooked pasta/rice/potatoes in the fridge overnight and having it the next day leads to less spike in blood sugar, is easier to digest, and some of it even acts like fiber. leftover supremacy fr
