@Dario08539002 @vaccaro3d The money ends up going to humans who didnt make anything, just payed a service for it to make themselves money. I dont want roy crock selling me games from the game machine, i want artists whose life experiences are transcribed through their work.

Bummer seeing GenAI in game on an announcement trailer but then to see the main key art is also GenAI? What are you doing? Your key art is your main advertisement for your game, the first thing most will see and you can't hire an artist that important piece? Skipping that game 😔

@SEGAForgotess Why would I care what you think is ass? As a writer, you are obligated to always hate your own writing, elsewise you will never seek to improve. I have spent days working on one page, rewriting the prose over and over again unto perfection. Still hated it at the end.

I find it interesting that many people see AI in games as okay as long as its used for concept work and doesn't make it into the final game. I just want to remind these people that in game development, there are people who's entire role is to develop concept art/assets.

@SEGAForgotess The modern writer is generally garbage, even myself. The only writers I care about have been dead for the better part of a century. Those are the only collaborators I seek, and I do that through study. Everyone else can go fuck themselves.

@FATCHICKSLUVIT_ No but I believe in giving people constructive feedback to help other creatives improve and collaborate with them better. Its also a chance for yourself to grow. It's nice to see others improve and grow alongside them

@SEGAForgotess Secondly, I don't write because I want people to care about my writing. I write because I want to write, fuck everyone else and their opinions. I do what I want, write what I want, and if I am my only audience, that is perfect to me.

@FATCHICKSLUVIT_ No, but I do enjoy reading many of Tolkein's stories, as many do. He's renound for taking great care in even the smallest aspects of the world and stories he built, and look at how successful, memorable and loved the world of Middle earth is. I think I've made my point.

@SEGAForgotess Why do you think I said 'dollar store novelist'? You and I both know I wasn't talking about Tolkien. Even Christopher Paolini is better than many of these people putting that trash out, and he was fifteen when he wrote Eragon. lmao

@SEGAForgotess Not because their writing is that bad, but because you have to pretend it's better than it is, elsewise you're going to be seen as an elitist prick. You won't have a co-writer. I don't have to be nice to the AI. The AI is there to work with me even at 1AM.

@SEGAForgotess Have you ever looked at someone else's art and thought, "Man I really want to redraw that, because this is just terrible and doesn't do the character justice." As a writer, I do, all the time. It's one of the biggest buzzkills to be paired off with a mediocre co-writer.

@SEGAForgotess The AI has no expectations, no timezone, no 'I don't feel like writing at the moment', explores any idea you want, and replies in seconds, where if you're dissatisfied with their writing, you don't have to say, "Oh it was great! :)" If it's shit, I rewrite it by hand. Easy.

@SEGAForgotess Have you ever read the $5 'wine mom romance novel' shit in a dollar store? lol You'd change your mind pretty quickly. I also worked as an editor for prisoners. Those also were fucking ghastly, and pretty formulaic. Who would have thought gangbangers enjoy writing?

@FATCHICKSLUVIT_ I'd bet your work is lesser than many current novelists not using AI, and afar beneath one's who have come before, writing before this technology was available to be quite blunt.

@SEGAForgotess Alternatively, AI is great as a bouncing board for exploring ideas quickly, or pushing yourself out of writer's block if you get stuck on a scene, an interaction, some descriptor you've spent way too much time on. I genuinely like writing with AI more than with other humans.

@FATCHICKSLUVIT_ Many writers enjoy fleshing out their work and it's the many small things that build up and make the work far more interesting. Really enjoying the creation of a work, you would want to take care of a project, rather than letting AI change and alter things to lesser quality

@SEGAForgotess Because it's not personal, and I'm not some loser that's so tore up over my dream jobs now all being gone, that I'll turn into some luddite and scream at the clouds forever. Adapt or die. I choose to adapt, and it's actually pretty fun. Better than most dollar store novelists.

@SEGAForgotess I went through eight years of university for creative writing, English degree, alongside History. I've had plenty of creative projects, I also know that AI has taken my job countless times. I've legitimately lost tens of thousands. Does that mean I stop enjoying it? Hardly. lol

@FATCHICKSLUVIT_ I really pity you. It's sad you settle for less. It's also sad you can't see any of the joy involved in creative project because you get a machine to do it for you. This is a multi billion dollar company also. They can afford to pay artists.

@SEGAForgotess I use AI in things I love all the time. I don't mind the quality loss if I can generate 'alright' art in seconds, whereas an artist will take hours. It's also cheaper, which is the other benefit.

@FATCHICKSLUVIT_ Prioritising speed over quality leads to lower quality products which is what should actually matter. Anything you love and hold to a high standard would not be at such a standard if not for the people who conceptualised said thing. They deserve credit.

@SEGAForgotess Speed > Quality That's all that really matters. If I wanted a masterpiece I would dig Da Vinci or Michelangelo out of their grave.

@FATCHICKSLUVIT_ Well the issue is, they are using AI for a lesser result. AI can't compare the the conceptualisation and realisation of a human artist

Generative AI shouldn't be touching any part of the creative process of game development. It still cuts members of the industry put of jobs they may have dedicated their loves to no matter what.

NewsNation is reporting I’m exploring a run for President in 2028. Here’s the truth: My one and only priority is deporting the 106 million illegals who are here. That’s it. The grassroots support I’m seeing tells me the polls are completely wrong… If I’m getting this much energy, it’s probably because 90% of the country wants mass deportations and the media just isn’t asking the right questions. My commitment is simple, liberate America from this invasion and restore our quality of life. If running for President is what it takes to actually get it done, then all options are on the table. House Bovino. Men fight back. Bovino2028.com

Former Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino launched a committee to explore a 2028 presidential run, NewsNation has confirmed. Bovino, who retired in March after nearly 30 years, was the face of the Trump administration's illegal immigration crackdown. He tells NewsNation he will move forward with a formal campaign "if it all comes together." More: tinyurl.com/4wu73tz7

@thunderbrd1 @tonyver45 @archer_rs You know what really annoys me is the fact that a bottle of B-Complex injection solution is about $15-20 for 100ml. The 'human grade' stuff, made in the same factory, different bottle, is about $20-30 per 1ml injection. I just buy animal grade and inject it myself.

@FATCHICKSLUVIT_ @tonyver45 @archer_rs I guess you can lead a horse to pharmaceuticals but you can't make him take them. I really don't 'get' why anyone would trust such a random solution but whatevah floats ya boat. I don't trust mainstream meds either much. Try to live without medication at all tbh.

@Nantono4 @spartanoivern21 @IrregularDS Horses are literally made to run. Haru was just a slot-filler horse. They really weren't expecting her to do anything more than 'run in the race at her own pace'. It's basically just running track for gym like we did.
