Year 13 Peer Mentors from @GirlsModel came together with Mercy College's Peer Mentors for a shared learning event. They discussed issues that young people face and how they can support younger pupils. @yeha_project

Education Minister @paulgivan viewing fantastic song, music and drama performances by students in Years 8-14 from @GirlsModel during his visit to the school today

Education Minister @paulgivan has visited @GirlsModel. The Minister met with Principal Paula Stuart, Vice Principals Julie Graham and Gillian Houston, Boards of Governors, school staff, parents and pupils. The Minister viewed fantastic song, music and drama performances by students from Years 8-14. The Minister was then taken on a tour of the school by Head Girl Jessica McFadden calling into a number of classes including the science lab, school gym, art and home economics classes.

Enjoyed attending a Q&A session with A-Level students from @GirlsModel Speaking about why I got involved in politics, Alliance values and my goals in the Assembly - students are never afraid to ask the tough questions!
