Can anyone explain why food brands can claim ‘no air miles’ when what matters are food miles + carbon footprint? Don’t they get away sounding local & sustainable by just saying they didn’t fly their products in ? Isn’t this unfair to UK producers using UK ingredients like us?

And let's bear in mind the @Tesco CEO was paid 3.2 million as a performance-based bonus for 2021-22 (on top of 1.54 million salary) and this week @Shell have announced record profits of 32 BILLION (when we're in a cost of living crisis). Stop shitting on the small guys!

The supermarkets acting like bullies, again. Tesco accusing farmers and food producers of 'profiteering' when many are on the brink of bankruptcy because of staggering increases in costs. This is not how we should be treating the people who work hard to feed us.
