OPENSHAW DELIVERY: 26 DAYS TO GO 🌹 Today we’ve been on Openshaw Village delivery 500 leaflets. It’s been lovely to see so many old friends while out! Myself and Cllrs @SeanMcHale9 & @donnaludford will continue to be out regularly so please do give us a wave if you see us! 🐝

CLAYTON DELIVERY🌹: 27 DAYS TO GO! Tonight myself and Cllrs @SeanMcHale9 & @donnaludford covered the Flint Close area of Clayton - tomorrow we will be in Openshaw, so please do let on for a chat! We expect rain but it won’t slow us down! 🐝🐝🐝

Rainy afternoon in Gorton with our fantastic @McrLabour candidate, John Hughes, talking to lots of local residents ahead of the elections on May 7th.🌹 Been great to work with John to secure lots of investment for his ward in recent years including lots of new social housing.🏡

CLAYTON DELIVERY🌹✉️: 28 DAYS TO GO. Tonight the team have begun the delivery of our election address, and in it we talk about what we’ve done all year round not just at election time! (1/2)

In 2025, we saw 795 new affordable homes built in Manchester, 60% for social rent. 1,000s more are on site too. Despite opposition from Greens and Lib Dems to new social housing in Manchester, it is @McrLabour building the homes that Mancunians need.🏡🌹

We've been able to see investment in Old Moat Park over the last year, new and additional bins across the ward, new trees, as well as keeping Tony, our dedicated daily litter picker in Withington Village. We will also see new pedestrian crossings by Old Moat Park later in 2026.🌳

Thanks to a great settlement from the Labour Govt, for the first time in 14 years Manchester City Council have a budget surplus.We've made a video about the work we’ve done over the last few years, and what we can do with this extra money. This only happens with @ChorltonLabour

From today, the two child limit is lifted. That means 450,000 children will no longer grow up in poverty.

Today, millions of people across the UK will benefit from new rights in the workplace. This is the difference a @UKLabour Government is making for working people.

This @UKLabour Government is honouring our commitment to the triple lock and putting more money in people's pockets 💷

Out again in Chorltonville this morning talking with residents. Great to hear lots of support for @ChorltonLabour 🌹

Minimum wage rates go up this week, giving a pay rise to 2.7 million people. This is good news for working people – now let’s get on and deliver the New Deal for Working People in full. 🌹
