Citrini: Hyperliquid Accounts for Nearly Half of Crypto Token Buybacks in 2025 Citrini Research said Hyperliquid is a “compelling” investment, noting that more than 90% of platform fees are directed to its Assistance Fund and used to repurchase HYPE on the open market. According to the report, Hyperliquid's buybacks have accounted for nearly half of all crypto token buyback activity in 2025 by some measures. Capital slingers will always be the cool kids in crypto.
The industry reveres traders because they’re relatable. They make money doing something that has no barrier to entry.
The idea that you can accumulate wealth just by moving numbers around on a screen will never stop being appealing.
What drives traders though is the feeling of accomplishment.
They made a prediction. An observation. They saw something others didn’t. They held through turbulence when others couldn’t.
That’s what gives traders their social capital, their bragging rights.
Most of the things crypto has produced for ppl to trade have been either too repetitive, finite, or silly.
There are only so many times to leverage trade the same few coins. Only so many NFT collectors. Only so many yield subsidizers. Only so many memecoin degens to buy ansem’s shills.
Prediction markets are unique in that they offer ppl an infinite stream of things to trade.
They entice the ego, but they also peak into the future.
They’re the perfect blend of degen and intellectual.
Traders leave a game when it gets too familiar, or when it feels rigged.
Polymarket has imo made the fatal flow of doing both those things.
90% of their markets are slop.
And it’s an open secret at this point that there’s a manipulative element to their resolutions.
The solution is to let traders start defining what they can trade, then actually resolve the markets fairly instead of rigging the outcomes in favor of a subset of “regulars” - aka insiders.
Let them use their imagination and create the markets they want to trade.
The combination of these two things gives traders, the ppl who are held in highest regard in this industry, an endless playground to play in.
User created prediction markets have the ingredients needed to unlock an infinite meta.
It’s where egos and intellect can clash over and over again, while spectators watch in amusement.
It’s entertaining , but it’s also competitive and informative.
The whole point of this post is to shill the upcoming user created markets product for @Trueo_
Similar products exist today, but they’re mostly gimmicks or afterthoughts, nothing substantive. Nothing that actually makes users feel like they’re in charge.
So yeah I’m shamelessly shilling.

Humanity Protocol-Linked Wallets Drained for Over $19 Million, H Token Crashes More Than 80% JUST IN: Onchain analyst Specter reported that wallets linked to or previously interacting with Humanity Protocol may have been compromised. More than 17 wallets holding H tokens have been drained so far, with total losses exceeding $19 million. Funds were traced to multiple suspected attacker addresses. The root cause remains unknown, though affected wallets may share a common exposure related to Humanity Protocol.
