DOJ’s settlement with @LiveNation and @Ticketmaster is not good enough. By illegally monopolizing live music, Live Nation hurts local venues, stifles artists, and hikes prices for fans. With a bipartisan group of 27 states, we're continuing the fight for fairness in live music.

Ted Sarandos has reflected on losing the bidding war for Warner Bros. to Paramount in a new interview on @business Highlights: - Knew they'd drop the deal quickly if Paramount was accepted as the superior offer: "We had done all the scenario planning, so we didn’t have to go back to the board. We knew what we wanted to do." - Will use $2.8B to invest in the business - Unlikely to go after another studio in the next 6 to 12 months. - Not worried Para/WB will stop licensing to Netflix, "If they are six or seven times levered, they need to make some money, and we’re buyers. So I can’t imagine that’s going to be a problem." - On adopting theaters, Sarandos suggests more could be done beyond stunt releases. "I could see us doing things that we haven’t done before."
