This is unacceptable. Either Minister McGuinty didn't know, which is failure of leadership, or he did know and is lying to Canadians. As Minister of National Defence, he is regularly briefed, and has the ability to get briefed as frequently as he requests. This is a skillful piece of propaganda. It shows two Canadian jets. But the story says American jets were involved. It quotes "Norad", but doesn't name anyone. Norad is the U.S.-led North American air defence command. CTV is hiding the fact that American jets saved us, again.

Yesterday, NORAD fighter jets via US aircraft, escorted two passenger planes to Montreal-Trudeau International following a reported security incident. The planes landed safely, and two men were arrested.  FBI surveillance uncovered a plot by two Canadian teens to simultaneously attack their high schools. The FBI shared this critical intelliengece with Interpol who gave it to Canadian authorities leading to their arrests. Yeah, we don't need America. 🙄
