According to Chinese caster Roy, Krystal passed the tryouts for Chengdu, and had good chemistry with the team. Since he was under contract with Hangzhou, signing him required a huge buyout that neither Chengdu nor Krystal wanted to pay/could afford, and the deal fell through.
