Texas Tech QB commit Kavian Bryant has punched his ticket to the #UANext All-America Game powered by a strong performance at the Rivals camp today! #WreckEm #TXHSFB

We are excited to welcome Coach Brandon Hargers to Mexia ISD as our new Defensive Coordinator and Head Boys Track Coach! Coach Hargers is a graduate of Waxahachie High School and a National Champion and 2× National Runner-Up at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He was also part of three State Championship teams at Carthage High School. Coach Hargers most recently served as Defensive Coordinator at Cuero High School and Palestine High School, while also leading both programs as Head Track Coach. His track athletes have made 13 State Track Meet appearances, producing 4 State Champions, 4 Silver Medalists, and 3 Bronze Medalists. During that time, his athletes also broke 8 school records, including the 4x100 Relay, 4x200 Relay, 4x400 Relay, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, and the 200m.
