Nigerians, please we need your help. On the 15th of May, Boko Haram entered a school called JSS Mussa Birri in Borno State. They kidnapped 45 kids. Out of those 45 children, 6 of them are our cousins. Instead of the Governor of Borno State trying to get these kids out, he offered 10 million to the families of the children. — lady cries out

I hosted a US billionaire in Lagos… and I didn’t even know it would actually happen. In 2019, Jack Dorsey tweeted he was coming to Africa — and Nigeria was on the list. By the Way, Jack Dorsey was the co-founder and CEO of X, formerly Twitter. He is currently worth $6.3 Billion. The moment I saw that tweet, I told my team: we have to host him.” No invite. No connection. Just belief. I started reaching out to anyone I knew at Twitter. Eventually, one person replied: ‘I’ll check who’s handling the trip. Days later… silence. Then suddenly, I get introduced to his Chief of Staff. And everything started moving fast. Next thing: background checks. The security team shows up in our office 2 days before for inspection. At that point, it became real.” Then boom, Jack Dorsey and his leadership team are sitting in my office in Lagos.” That one visit changed everything for us, It turned our office into a global stop for international leaders.” But here’s the craziest part… There was no special access. No guaranteed outcome. We just decided it was possible — and moved. So next time you’re doubting yourself… Try first. You don’t need permission to go for big opportunities.

Chukwuemeka Obiedum is from Ifitani in Agbani Enugu state. A 16 year old SS2 student of Union Secondary School Agbani Enugu. He invited his two friends to follow him on a robbery incident so he could gift his girlfriend in his school. They went on the robbery activity at one Ngige compound to steal phones. They entered the house by jumping the fence. At that point, the first guy they met , refused to surrender his phone to them, they have to kpai him with an axe 🪓 🪓 🪓🪓. It was one of their group members, Odinaka Obike 18 years, from Ebonyi state, resident at Amaorji street that used the weapon and masterminded the action. They ran away after the victim kpaid. Little did they know that a newly installed solar streetlights around the area recorded their movement in the middle of the night. The security vigilante had to fish them out the next day and they confessed to the crime. The society is getting scarier daily Wetin 16yrs know about love? 🙆‍♂️🙆‍♂️🥺

The Nigeria Police Force is aware of the viral video involving ASP Newton Isokpehi. Our response has been swift, decisive, and clear. The officer has been identified, and disciplinary procedures have commenced at the Anambra State Command. IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has taken further action. Alongside disciplinary proceedings, he has ordered a mental evaluation, medical assessment, and drug testing for ASP Isokpehi to ensure a thorough and transparent investigation. Accountability in this case involves both appropriate consequences and institutional understanding. We affirm that all Nigerians and officers have the right to lawfully record police officers performing their duties. This right is real, protected, and will be upheld by the Force. However, this right carries responsibilities. Recordings that obstruct operations, compromise officer safety, or endanger the public are not protected. There is a clear distinction between lawful accountability and interference with police duties. WHEN LAWFUL BOUNDARIES ARE RESPECTED BY ALL PARTIES, accountability and public safety can coexist effectively. ASP Isokpehi’s actions and comments were inappropriate, threatening, and unprofessional. He is therefore subject to disciplinary measures. The outcome of this disciplinary process will be made public. We are committed to ensuring transparency.
Nigeria Police Force@PoliceNG

NPF CONDEMNS THREATENING CONDUCT BY POLICE OFFICER IN VIRAL VIDEO, ORDERS IMMEDIATE DISCIPLINARY ACTION The Nigeria Police Force has taken cognisance of a viral video circulating on social media involving ASP Newton Isokpehi, in which the officer was seen making threatening remarks against members of the public filming police activities. The Force wishes to state unequivocally that the conduct and utterances exhibited in the video are unacceptable, unprofessional, and inconsistent with the ethics, standards, and code of conduct of the Nigeria Police Force. Such actions run contrary to the ongoing reform initiatives of the Force aimed at promoting transparency, accountability, professionalism, and citizen-focused policing. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has consistently maintained that members of the public have the right to lawfully record police officers carrying out their duties, provided such recording does not obstruct operations, compromise safety, or interfere with lawful police activities. In line with this position, the officer involved has since been identified and summoned to the Anambra State Command Headquarters where immediate disciplinary procedures have commenced. The Nigeria Police Force does not tolerate threats, intimidation, abuse of office, or any conduct capable of undermining public trust and confidence in law enforcement institutions. The Force further reiterates that recording police activities remains a legitimate tool for public accountability and transparency and should not, in itself, attract harassment or intimidation from police personnel while discharging their duties. A formal statement detailing the outcome of the disciplinary measures taken against the officer will be communicated in due course. The Nigeria Police Force appreciates members of the public for their continued partnership and constructive engagement in promoting accountability, professionalism, and improved policing standards across the country. How do i tell Nigeria men that submission in marriage depends on how you lead as a man. A lot of Nigerian men today are fighting harder for submission than they are fighting to build an actual home. And I genuinely don’t understand it. Ask many men what they want in a wife and before anything else before peace of mind, before partnership, before a woman who actually wants to build something with them you’ll hear “submission.” What’s this obsession with submission.

They murdered this innocent girl yesterday in her school hostel room in Imo State. She was a student of Our Lady of Mercy Nursing School. Her throat was slit. She was found almost naked, with her clothes torn. What exactly happened to your student, Wendy? Who did this to her, and why is there still no clear explanation?

“Nigeria happened to me yesterday after I was going home from work. Police arrested me, my colleague, and other people around us at 8 a.m., took my phone, and drove us to the police station. They said they were raiding the area. They didn’t find any illegal substances on me. When I asked why they arrested me, they slapped me. They put me in a cell with other men. They told me to bring ₦200,000. I had to beg for ₦100,000 for me and my colleague, and they made us sign a statement saying they didn’t extort us. I’m traumatized.” — Lady shares.

Let’s schedule a sit down. Me you and the dad you say “discover(ed) banana island.” This isn’t about money. I have money. Came to America with nothing and created my wealth myself. No handouts. I’d just like sit across the table from you both, look you in the eyes and hear how this discovery came about. I’m not as easy to find as you all, but I’ll make it easy for you. It’s all fun and games, until it’s not. You’re dealing with someone from a world you will never comprehend. The clock has started. Thank you for your attention to this matter, @RealKiddWaya

Allegedly, a commercial motorcyclist, or Okada rider, named Kelvin Ogaga was entrusted with driving a toddler (3 years old) to and from school every day. The Okada man betrayed that trust—he abducted the child and collected ransom money from the parents before the police tracking team caught him. This just happened in Ughelli, Delta State. Thank God the child was rescued alive by SP Bright Edafe’s team. But it raises a hard question we keep avoiding: In today’s Nigeria, can you really afford to trust anyone with your child just for convenience?

The greatest killer of many friendships is abusing access. All my life till today I have never BORROWED. From family. From friends from nobody except it’s for medical related purposes. Even when I was poor poor. Having a tough mentality since day one that hunger can’t kill me but fuel me to achieve better is one major thing that got me where I am today. A lot of friendships have been destroyed because most of you have brought beg beg attitude into it while you just lay there and contribute absolutely nothing to the source of the income. Kene, if you’ve never been poor or been in a desperate situation where you had to ask people for money just to survive, there are certain things you simply can’t relate to. Three years ago, I was ruthlessly scammed of my life savings. Overnight, I returned to square one while still carrying the responsibility of feeding and taking care of four siblings and my daughter. Life humbled me completely. I was practically turned into a beggar because I couldn’t sit back and watch them starve. I threw myself into different menial jobs while still working as an assistant lecturer in a private university. Help barely came. Most friends genuinely couldn’t assist because they were also struggling. There were days suicidal thoughts crossed my mind. Days I felt completely helpless and abandoned. It took me more than a year to get back on my feet after living such a humiliating and difficult life. Then one of my close friends fell into almost the same situation. I didn’t have much, but I kept showing up for him. At some point, it became emotionally draining. Sometimes seeing his calls would even frustrate me because I knew it would be another request for help. But I kept reminding myself: “Remember how helpless you felt. Remember how badly you wished someone would come through for you.” So I kept helping him until he gradually stabilized again. That experience taught me something deep. How can you say a friend is “abusing access” simply because they need help during the worst period of their life? People only “abuse access” when there’s no real bond or loyalty. What exactly are friends for if not to stand by each other when life becomes unbearable?

Chinese now come to Nigeria to open warehouses and sell directly to Nigerians. That’s an entire industry that ordinary Nigerian businessmen depended on to make money, which has been wiped out. Brace yourself, because almost everything people do easily to make money will be overturned by the new order.
