1000 staff and students participated in a round dance to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, 2024. @RETSDschools

Grade 5 students spent the afternoon rotating through five class designed vehicle challenges to test different aspects of their vehicles. They were exploring and learning more about their vehicles to prepare for an upcoming grade 5 design tournament. Great job! 🚗👏

Kindergarten Registration begins today. If you have a child born in 2019, they are eligible to start Kindergarten this September.

Middle Years students embraced the spirit of Festival du Voyageur in their Gym Riot this afternoon. @RETSDschools

Middle Years students at BWS organized an AMAZING celebration for Black History month to share with their peers at our weekly assembly. Students in Grade 6-8 also had the option of buying a West African hot lunch option today. @RETSDschools

Ms.Hando’s class kicked off I love to read month by having a “Starbooks” themed book tasting party! Students got to explore and choose their good fit books for their lit circles .@RETSDschools

Artist Justine Proulx worked with Grade 7 and 8 Art students and used their input to create a mural called "Guiding Generations" to grace the hall at BWS. This mural is intended to be a celebration of resilience, a reflection on the past, and a light for the future. @RETSDschools

WJHA students visited Camp Manitou where they earned medals for their hard work and participated in zip lining, making bannock, and much more. Special thanks to the fabulous coaches and the WJHA for helping our students build important skills on and off the ice. @RETSDschools

Yesterday marked the beginning of Hanukkah, a festival of lights observed for eight nights and days, commemorating the recovery of Jerusalem. We wish all of our students and their families who celebrate this occasion a Happy Hanukkah—Chag urim sameach! #Hanukkah2022
