The NDP is pushing to pause some unspecified sections of DRIPA for three years, which will create further uncertainty in the years ahead. After the Cowichan case, our province urgently needs clarity and certainty. The extortion crisis gripping the Fraser Valley is what NDP failure looks like in real life. They promised $230 million dollars to keep communities safe. They promised 256 new RCMP officers. They delivered a crisis instead. While this government patted itself on the back, extortion gangs took over. Families can't sleep at night. Business owners are being threatened in broad daylight. Surrey's mayor was forced to call for a federal state of emergency because the NDP couldn't deliver on the most basic duty of government: keeping people safe. This isn't incompetence. It's negligence. The NDP has failed British Columbians on public safety, full stop. People are paying the price for the NDP's broken promises with their safety and their lives. #bcpoli
