Jesus did not send the Apostles into the world to make peace with all religions. He sent them to preach the gospel.
The gospel that separates true biblical Christianity from every other belief system.
“For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
(1 Corinthians 1:18)
Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything He has commanded. That is not a call to blend beliefs, it’s a call to proclaim truth.
Jesus never taught believers to pursue religious unity with systems that deny the gospel. In fact, He said He did not come to bring peace, but a sword. His message divides truth from error, light from darkness.
Any religion that claims to reveal God apart from the Son, or offers salvation apart from Christ, stands in opposition to Him.
Jesus Himself makes that clear; “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6) & “Whoever is not with Me is against Me.” (Matthew 12:30)
God’s Word calls us not to affirm error, but to expose it. That includes any religion that offers a salvation that does not come through the cross of Christ.
