Man taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' after stabbing bbc.in/49QRLA5
English

@Next_andReady @Shoshana51728 I'm having terrible thoughts, like I want Pat Tillman to follow Massie around for the rests of his days.
"What about me, bro?" 👻 👻
English

@Ottocus1 @Shoshana51728 in the Korean War, Gulf War, Vietnam War, etc there's plenty of stories Massie never heard about. New Zealand killing US troops, Aussie air force killing US Troops. US Troops killing other nations troops.
And gosh, US Troops killing US Troops.
English

It's so weird that you didn't honor the 37 sailors who were killed and the 21 who were wounded on the USS Stark when our ally , Iraq, intentionally attacked the USS Stark in 1987. history.navy.mil/content/histor…
Thomas Massie@RepThomasMassie
59 years ago today, Israel attacked the USS Liberty in international waters. 34 crew members were killed and 174 were wounded by the IDF. Today, I spoke on the House floor to honor the fallen and to recognize the survivors who were present in the gallery.
English

@THE_DOC52 @Shoshana51728 @davereaboi They were all the fog of war.
I'm wondering when we become equal opportunity blame gamers and bring them *all up, instead of the myopic focus on Israel.
I didn't even bring up 150 school girls/teachers killed this year cuz of outdated targeting data from the DIA.
English

Massie's "Justice Delayed" speech on the House floor today asserts that Israel deliberately attacked the USS Liberty with the intention to murder its crew, and that the US government covered it up.
However, the comprehensive documentary record—spanning more than a dozen official US and Israeli investigations, including reviews by the CIA, NSA, and Joint Chiefs of Staff—completely refutes these claims, proving the incident was a tragic case of mistaken identity and friendly fire. You don't have to take their conclusions granted; you just need to look at the evidence.
Massie and his gang have no intention of doing that-- none of these people have looked at the evidence; there are no "Liberty Truthers" who ever engage with the specific evidence, because then they look too obviously grotesque and ideologically-motivated.
If the facts of the case don't matter, why are these people obsessed with a friendly-fire incident that happened in 1967? Because they want to convince you--despite all evidence and lack of motive--to hate Israel and Jews. There is absolutely nothing else going on here, and the proof for that is how enthusiastically they lie about what actually happened that day.
They need to say Israel attacked deliberately, because that's how they fool Americans into distrusting and hating Israel. And they need to say the US covered it up, because that's how they explain the lack of evidence for their claims.
I promised a debunking, so here it is.
****************************
Massie: Israel deliberately attacked the ship with the intent to leave no survivors. There is absolutely zero evidence it was a premeditated strike. The Israeli military correctly identified the ship at dawn, but a duty officer erased the ship's marker from the naval plot hours later because the information was considered stale. Later, misread explosions on the coast led to a severely flawed speed calculation by Israeli torpedo boats (estimating 30 knots instead of 5), which classified the ship as a hostile warship that was then misidentified as an Egyptian supply vessel.
If Israel had intended to sink the ship, they would have used iron bombs—but the Israeli air controller deliberately diverted the flight carrying iron bombs away from the ship.
When an Israeli pilot recognized Latin letters on the hull (Arab warships used Arabic script), the attack was immediately halted with the order, "Leave her!" Israel then dispatched rescue helicopters, ceased fire immediately, and apologized within hours, before Washington had even publicly acknowledged the incident.
Massie: The attack was a 25-minute unprovoked assault using napalm, and lifeboats were machine-gunned. In reality, the air attack lasted approximately 14 minutes, and every official investigation confirms there were only two Mirages and two Super-Mystères involved. (Even survivor advocates who previously claimed there were up to 30 sorties have conceded on the record that there were only two initial jets).
The jets dropped napalm because they had been diverted mid-mission from bombing Egyptian infantry, not because of a surgical plan to sink a steel ship.
Furthermore, the torpedo boat did not machine-gun lifeboats to execute survivors; it actually recovered a damaged life raft put overboard by the crew that was marked "US Navy." This recovery is exactly how the Israelis realized the ship was American.
Massie: It was a clear day with unlimited visibility and the American flag was flying proudly. While Massie argues the flag should have made the ship's identity obvious, gun-camera film from the attacking pilots and shipboard photos confirm that the smoke from the burning ship was rising straight up--meaning there was essentially no wind. Because of the calm conditions, the flag hung limp and drooping against the mast rather than extended. The Navy Court of Inquiry specifically concluded that the calm weather and slow speed "may well have made the American flag difficult to identify."
Massie: US rescue planes were recalled and the crew was left stranded for 17 hours. Massie implies that the recall of rescue planes points to a sinister cover-up-- but the US response was paralyzed by the fear of nuclear escalation. LBJ initially feared the attackers were Soviet, stating, "if this attack is by the Russians, this means war." The Sixth Fleet recalled its defending aircraft out of fear of sparking World War III, and this recall occurred long after the attack was already over.
The USS Liberty was only in the war zone to begin with because of severe US communication failures. Five separate messages ordering the ship to withdraw 100 miles were misrouted and never reached the ship before the attack.
Massie: Ward Boston declared the inquiry invalid, proving a cover-up. He asked Congress to enter a declaration by Ward Boston into the record, claiming the official court of inquiry was invalid. Boston's much later affidavit recanting his original findings is hearsay (the admiral he quoted was deceased) and self-incriminating, as Boston himself co-authored the original findings under oath.
Admiral Isaac Kidd, who actually led the Naval Court of Inquiry, said in 1991 that his investigation found zero evidence of a deliberate attack. When asked if they found a "smoking gun," he said, "we didn't even find a water pistol."

English

@GreenDoorGhost @JoelWBerry The USS Stark was attacked in 1987 by Iraq (an ally). 2 Exocet missiles ended up killing 37 sailors & wounding 21. They mistook a frigate for an Iranian tanker.
The USS Vincennes shot down Air Iran flight 655 in 1988 because they mistook an Airbus for an F-14 Tomcat. Killed 290.
English

@JoelWBerry Ships aren’t identified by flags.
They are identified by their whole shape.
Egypt didn’t have ships in the shape of a US Intelligence ship.
You’re lying, and you know you are.
Must be a crazy existence to purposefully lie, and not feel the weight upon your soul.
English

First of all, that's not the Liberty. Second of all, why did you give it a massive Chevy car dealership flag in your really terrible photoshop job? Here's how big the flag actually was. Can you identify?
Also note- the tiny flag in this picture is actually the larger flag they hoisted after the smaller flag came down during the first attack. You think you could identify that from 1000 feet away in a Dassault Mirage III going 400 miles per hour?

BabylonBibi@BabylonBiBi
@JoelWBerry Israel hates when we remember Liberty.
English

@joshuapbrink @DefiyantlyFree You're one of those million followers, lol.

@DefiyantlyFree For a million followers your likes and retweets are abysmally low. As low as Trump 47’s approval rating.
English

She blocked me because she was tired of being ratioed in her own comments section so I’ll just embarrass her on my own timeline.
Why would Israel want to kill the most pro-Israel president of the last 50 years?
Trump’s record on Israel is unmatched by any president in history:
•Moved the US embassy to Jerusalem
•Recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights
•Brokered the Abraham Accords normalizing relations with Arab states
•Pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal
•Assassinated Iranian General Qasem Soleimani
•Provided Israel with unprecedented military and diplomatic support
•Has personally close relationships with Netanyahu
The other administration did this:
Let Iran missile embargo lapse
Kept suspected Iran spy’s security clearance
Obama: “Nobody’s hands are clean”
Democrats blocked aid to Israel
Prepared visa bans on Israeli settlers
Told Israel to end Gaza ground campaign
Pressured Netanyahu to scale down the war
Took 3 months to pause UNRWA funding
Executive order to sanction Israelis with no defined standards
Told Israel to keep jets out of Lebanese airspace
Biden called IDF operation “over the top”
NSM-20 implied Israel was committing war crimes
Drafted UN ceasefire resolution against Israel
Investigated Israeli Iron Dome manufacturer
Harris called for “immediate ceasefire
Met with Qatari official who praised Hamas
Biden: “Only solution is two-state solution”
Called Rafah operation a “red line”
Unfroze $10 billion for Iran
Schumer called for new Israeli government
Biden praised Schumer’s anti-Netanyahu speech
Submitted UN ceasefire resolution
Abstained from UN vote — let ceasefire pass with no mention of Hamas or October 7
State Dept publicly undermined Rafah operation
Offered to remove Houthis from terror list
Biden demanded ceasefire, threatened to condition aid
Pelosi and 36 Democrats demanded weapons cutoff to Israel
I know she’s braindead.
But why does she think the rest of us are?

English

@JamesVa08063380 @Shoshana51728 Can we include Minnesota in that trade? Sort of a two-for-one?
English

@THE_DOC52 @Shoshana51728 @davereaboi And the USS Vincennes shot down Air Iran flight 655, an Airbus, because they misidentified it as an F-14 Tomcat, in 1988. Killed all 290 souls onboard.
The Vincennes was actively engaged in a firefight with Iranian gunboats in the Strait of Hormuz at the time.
Fog of war?
English

@THE_DOC52 @Shoshana51728 @davereaboi Just stopping in to remind you of the Iraqi (an ally at the time) attack on the USS Stark in 1987. Two Exocet missiles fired, killing 37 sailors, and wounding 21 more.
The pilot mistook the frigate for an Iranian oil tanker.

English

@Shoshana51728 @davereaboi Yeah "friendly fire" tell that to the 30 plus who died you fucking tard ass clown 🤡
English

@nadersfolly @BabylonBiBi @DefiyantlyFree Let me know when he finally tees it up. He's been woefully lacking in that regard, especially since the Minab school children incident happened just this past February, so it's really current.

Thomas Massie calls for an investigation into the USS Liberty.
Someone tell him that there has been 11 investigations into the USS Liberty.
U.S. Navy Court of Inquiry; June 18, 1967. Presiding officer Rear Admiral Isaac Kidd found no evidence of intentional attack. Verdict: mistaken identity.
CIA Intelligence Memorandum: June 13, 1967. Found no malice; attack a mistake.
JCS Fact-Finding Team (“Russ Report”): June 18, 1967. Examined U.S. military communications handling before and during the attack.
Clark Clifford Report: July 18, 1967. Presidential advisor Clifford found no evidence the ship was known to be American.
State Department / Salans Report: September 1967. Legal and diplomatic assessment by State Department Counsel Carl Salans.
Senate Foreign Relations Committee: 1967. Secretary McNamara testified there was no evidence attackers knew it was a U.S. ship.
House Appropriations Committee: 1967/1971. NSA officials briefed Congress on Liberty’s mission and the communications failures.
Senate Select Committee on Intelligence: 1979/1981. Found no merit to claims the attack was intentional.
NSA Internal Report (“Gerhard Report”): 1981. Concluded the intercepts “tended to rule out any thesis that the Israeli Navy and Air Force deliberately attacked a ship they knew to be American.”
House Armed Services Committee: 1991/1992. Found no support for claims the attack was intentional.
State Department Conference & Document Release: January 2004. Released all remaining classified CIA and NSA memos. NSA historian David Hatch stated the evidence “strongly suggested” Israel did not know it was attacking a U.S. vessel.
English

@ethicalaxolotl @AP4Liberty @bonchieredstate Flesh this out a little bit.
If Israel admitted right away that it was them, how would that draw the US into the war, and whose side would the US be on? The US wasn't an ally of Israel in 1967.
English

@AP4Liberty @bonchieredstate Israel is trying to spread this goofy propaganda that it was an accident when it was actually on purpose to draw the USA into the war.
Gross little dudes
English

This is an IQ test.
Let’s see who scores a 60.
Sal the Agorist@SallyMayweather
Thomas Massie just called for an official investigation into the attack on the USS Liberty
English

@Banned_Wagon86 @Cernovich I'm just asking for documentation. What's wrong with that?
Can they give the names of who threatened them? Dates?
English

@Ottocus1 @Cernovich You're too stupid to have a conversation with.
English

Even if you don’t see the attack as deliberate (I’ve read as much as anyone and remain unsure), it is a disgrace how Republicans in Congress have treated the survivors. They deserved to be heard.

@Ottocus1 @Cernovich I have first hand testimony from the threatened survivors how's that?

@aimtomisb3hav3 @DefiyantlyFree Prince Charming here blocked me *after he responded with this. Ran away like a coward. Never responded to my other post, asking him if he prayed for the Jewish people.
Hardly impressive.

@aimtomisb3hav3 @DefiyantlyFree And, btw, you were being coy until this 2nd paragraph. That was your honesty.

There’s a reason the Book of Romans is my favorite book in the Bible.
The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 11:26: “And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.”
Israel’s story is not finished. The nation that the world wants to erase, God has declared will be redeemed. You cannot have a redemption without a remnant. You cannot have a return without a people to return to. The very existence of Israel today, the most resilient nation is God keeping His word.
Zechariah 14 is unmistakable. “His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which lies to the east of Jerusalem.” Not a metaphor. The same Mount of Olives where He ascended in Acts 1, where the angels declared He would return in the same manner. He is coming back, and He is coming back there.
Jerusalem is not incidental to eschatology. Jerusalem is the epicenter of it. The King of Kings will reign from that city. The nations will come up to worship in that place. This is why the enemy has always wanted to erase it, why the world’s hatred for one small nation is so disproportionate to her size because Hell understands what is at stake even when the Church forgets.
Israel, like every nation, is made up of broken human beings in need of a Savior. But the promises of God do not rest on Israel’s perfection. They rest on God’s character. “The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable,” Paul wrote in Romans 11:29.
If God could break His covenant with Israel, He could break His covenant with me. But He cannot. He will not. And so Israel endures as a sign, as a witness, as a living testimony that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the same yesterday, today, and forever and His word will stand forever.
And that gives me great peace. No matter what’s happening in the world.
So when I defend Israel, I don’t defend every action of every government. They have a left too, one I disagree with daily.
I defend Israel because I defend the Word of God. And I defend the Word of God because Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and His Word is always true. Every single word. Not just the one’s people want to focus on.
I don’t know what happens in the end. I don’t know who is saved or why. And I don’t care. I know the same Jesus who died for my sins made promises to that nation and He will keep every last one of them.
English

@Banned_Wagon86 @Cernovich You have documentation for this occurring in all 11 previous investigations?
English

@Ottocus1 @Cernovich They literally threatened the survivors with UCMJ if they told the truth.
English

@Banned_Wagon86 @Cernovich And the US never conducted their own investigations?
I heard there were about 11 separate US investigations into the incident. Maybe we need a 12th? 🫤
English

@Cernovich But Israel investigated themselves and found no wrong doing so we have to trust them over the sailors.
English

@BabylonBiBi @DefiyantlyFree Do we then remember the USS Stark, when 37 sailors died because 2 Iraqi (an ally) missiles struck it in 1987?
Do we remember the USS Vincennes taking down Air Iran flight 655, killing all 290 souls onboard in 1988, after that?
The US Tomahawk missile killing those school girls?
English

@FrankLets78822 @DefiyantlyFree So did the attack on the USS Stark in 1987, that killed 37 sailors.
So did the USS Vincennes taking down Air Iran flight 655 in 1988, killing all 290 souls onboard.
So did the US Tomahawk missile killing a bunch of school girls in Minab.
They happened. So ....
English

Those talking about the USS Liberty are talking about it because it was injected into American political discourse in 2014 by AlJazeera (Qatari state media) to influence Americas foreign policy position when Obama was President and Gaza attacked Israel in 2014.
Prior to that no one talked about the USS Liberty. Why because there were 11 US investigations in the US. 3 by Israel. And they paid 13 million in reparations.
Why would those 11 investigations protect Israel at the time. They were not even a formal ally of the United States of America.
The conspiracy theorists want you to believe that a nation of 2.5 million people, surrounded by over 100 million Arabs backed by Soviet weapons and warships, with no formal U.S. alliance, fighting with French equipment, deliberately attacked the one government that might help it, in broad daylight, on day four of a war it wasn’t sure it would survive.
And 11 American investigations were all fraudulently conducted to protect Israel who was not an actual ally of the US yet because what?
AIPAC only built a 300,000 war chest by 1974. In 1967 it was like a one man show.
The organizations with real political muscle in that era weren’t Jewish lobby groups, they were labor unions.
The AFL-CIO in the 1950s had 15 million members and nearly three times the entire Jewish population of the United States and its political influence dwarfed anything the pro-Israel lobby could field at the time.
The President of AFL-CIO was not Jewish or a dual citizen. He was Catholic.
So no money, no alliance and no lobby power and only 2.5 million people but they brazenly attacked the US in the middle of a seven front war?
Really that’s what you’re going with?
