Here's a *preliminary* summary of Meteorological Winter 2025-26. As everyone knows by now, cold and snowy, but also a bit on the dry side overall. For the I-95 corridor, it was generally the coldest and snowiest meteorological winter in over 10 years, in some cases much longer.

☀️⌚️ We've reached the time of year where we're gaining about 2.5 mins of daylight each day. The clocks will change to Daylight Saving Time this coming Sunday, when sunset times will jump to 7 PM or later until late Sept. Avg temps increase by 10°/month (2-3°/week) through June.

(2/2) One last truly cold day, at least for now, on tap for Monday. Several disturbances will impact the area over the middle of next week. Much warmer weather builds into the area to close out next week with potential widespread temps in the 60s!!!

Our analysis of the reported snow totals from the February 22-23 blizzard is complete. The gradient across our western areas was due to intense snow bands remaining east of there. Snowfall rates within the intense bands peaked at 2-4 inches per hour! #pawx #njwx #dewx #mdwx
