@Viral_Votarist @TuturiEfendi @Rainbow6Game no actually because the devs already explained how it works, your placement matches arent going to change your initial placement much, as there was a soft reset. it compressed the rank disparity and as you played you would get closer to your skill but your previous rank isnt gone

You seem to think if you got 5 placement matches against, let's say G2 pro team. Your rank would be your rank.

Call me old fashioned, call me nostalgic, call me unc if you want but I really miss when Rainbow Six Siege was about droning, using utility and contesting map control.
So many operators (on both sides) allow you to just skip those fundamentals entirely at the minute

the devs were very clear about this.

my and my friends did all our placements together two got silver, 1 got plat, and the other two got bronze.
placements are still based on your hidden mmr

Teamwork is a two way street
i dont have time for it and im fine with peaking in silver/gold
if you are better than your enemy you will win. simple. 1 or 2 bronze teammates doesnt change that

@AthienoR6 Ah yes another “just get good” post. Here to defend daddy Ubisoft. Unless you guys some of us don’t have a dedicated team or time to “invest”. Some of us have to work 12-15 hours a day. The system is a step in the right direction. But needs improvement

So R6 ranked is actually cooked now Most good players are getting placed in Emerald and are winning only 20 points per win and losing 23 per loss If you maintain a 1.25 W/R the entire season, it’d take 1237 games to reach Champ V 14 games and 8 hours per day. Great job Ubi

@manninal_lecter @OsheaJacksonJr There is a point where profits don’t prove anything. But look at profits & how many concurrent players are playing. If players don’t play the game or buy it is the litmus test. This isn’t music. If no one plays and or buys your game. It’s not success. Games are meant to be played

@logiibear05 @NarcolepticNugg i feel like it isnt much different from other games with ranked modes, the incentive is to raise your rank, and also you get rewards every 10 games you play regardless of win or loss

@Slothik @NarcolepticNugg Should never lose that much, especially this early in the season. No way the sample is large enough to justify that logic. Hard enough to win at times send most probably hover around a 1 w/l. What's the incentive off ever playing? 2 wins to JUST offset 1 loss?
