I’m not been asking for Curtis to be RB long term but I’ve been screaming for someone who is comfortable on the ball. Suddenly teams don’t jump straight away — if they do then the RB must be able to find a pass into the DM. Manipulation & progression next season please. #LFC

Maybe it’s just because I’m older, but this post has made me realise that I have zero emotional attachment to any of the current squad compared to under Klopp. Other than Van Dijk or Alisson (who I consider as part of the previous era), I wouldn’t care less if any of them left.

One guy you’ll never see me dig out is Virgil Van Dijk. Guy has CARRIED our defence all season. He’s conceded pens & made mistakes because of the incompetence around him. 34 yo, playing every minute of every game. Let’s not forget the mental toll the man is carrying. As captain, he won a title & then buried Jota within weeks. Yet he fronts up to the media and takes all the responsibility, every week. Proud he’s our captain and gutted he’s fought alone for too much of this season. #LFC
