गुजरात के पंचायत चुनाव में BJP नेता शकील मालेक की हार हो गई।
इस बात से नाराज BJP नेता ने गांव की पानी की सप्लाई रोक दी। हजारों लोग पानी के लिए तड़पते रहे, लेकिन BJP नेता अपनी जिद्द पर अड़ा रहा।
4 दिन तक BJP नेता का मान-मनौवल चलता रहा, तब जाकर पानी की सप्लाई शुरू हुई।
BJP नेता की ये घटिया हरकत मानवता के खिलाफ है, जो बताती है कि BJP के लोग जनता को कीड़े-मकौड़े सा समझते हैं। उन्हें लोगों की दुख-तकलीफों से कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता।
साथ ही BJP नेताओं में इस बात की होड़ है कि कौन ज्यादा गिरेगा, क्योंकि इन्हें मालूम है कि जो ज्यादा गिरेगा, वही BJP में आगे बढ़ेगा।

“नारी वंदन” का मुखौटा उतर गया।
यह सिर्फ़ शर्मनाक नहीं - यह BJP की मनुवादी, महिला-विरोधी विचारधारा का असली चेहरा है।
ये है BJP का “नारी वंदन”?
ये करेंगे महिलाओं का सशक्तिकरण?
ये देंगे अधिकार?
सत्ता को चुनौती देने वाली महिलाएं इन्हें बर्दाश्त नहीं - एक ही पल में इनकी विकृत मानसिकता सामने आ जाती है।
और प्रधानमंत्री तो, कांग्रेस की महिला सांसदों के सवालों से घबराकर, संसद छोड़कर पहले ही भाग चुके हैं।
मोदी जी ख़ुद कहते हैं, “नारी सब भूल जाती है, लेकिन अपना अपमान कभी नहीं भूलती।” - मगर BJP खुद ये भूल गई।
महिला-विरोधी BJP ये याद रखे - गुजरात के साथ पूरे हिंदुस्तान की महिलाएं हर अपमान का मुंहतोड़ जवाब देंगी।

• 5 अप्रैल की प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दो दिन बाद असम सरकार की मशीनरी ने पूरी ताकत के साथ एक NBW याचिका डाली, जिसे ख़ारिज कर दिया गया था
• जिस निर्णय के खिलाफ हम सुप्रीम कोर्ट गए थे, उस पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने जो फैसला दिया है, उसमें ऐसे प्रावधानों का जिक्र है, जो शिकायतकर्ता, याचक और जांच एजेंसी ने नहीं कही है
• सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यह भी कहा है कि हम भूल जाते हैं कि अंतरिम जमानत के मामले में जब तक दोष सिद्ध न हो जाए, तब तक किसी को दोषी नहीं माना जा सकता है
• इस मामले में कई प्रकार के पहलुओं को डाल दिया गया, ताकि यह मानहानि से एक अलग केस बन जाए। इसमें 9 प्रावधानों का इस्तेमाल किया गया था, जिसे हमने साबित किया है- ये सभी प्रावधान जमानती हैं
• हमें यह नहीं भूलना चाहिए कि हर नागरिक को अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी है और अगर राजनीतिक अभियान के दौरान एक राजनीतिक बयान को इतना बड़ा मुद्दा बनाया जाएगा तो ये Article 19(1)(a) को खतरा होगा
मैं इस निर्णय के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट को धन्यवाद देना चाहता हूं और इस फैसले पर कांग्रेस पार्टी समेत सभी लोगों को बधाई देता हूं।

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने असम के मुख्यमंत्री को तीन पन्नों में कोट किया है। वहीं, ऐसी कई बातें हैं जो न न्यायालय कोट कर सकती है और न मैं बोल सकता हूं।
ऐसे में असम के मुख्यमंत्री को सोचना चाहिए कि क्या एक संवैधानिक पद पर बैठे व्यक्ति को ये शोभा देता है?
मैं चाहता हूं कि असम के मुख्यमंत्री इस बारे में गंभीरतापूर्वक विचार कर खेद व्यक्त करें।

• जब मुद्दा आजादी का हो तो न्याय व्यवस्था लोगों की संरक्षक होती है
• हमें हमेशा याद रखना चाहिए कि हम कानून के नीचे हैं
• जब हम धर्म की रक्षा करते हैं तो धर्म हमारी रक्षा करता है
इस मामले की कहानी कामरूप मजिस्ट्रेट से शुरू हुई और फिर तेलंगाना हाईकोर्ट होते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट आई। फिर मामला गुवाहाटी हाईकोर्ट पहुंचा और आज सुप्रीम कोर्ट से एक फैसला आया है।
जब भी ऐसे मामलों में मानहानि का आरोप होता है तो उसमें सवाल उठता है कि क्या गिरफ्तारी के बिना पूछताछ नहीं हो सकती है?
लेकिन इस मामले में करीब 60 पुलिसवालों को एक व्यक्ति के घर पर भेज दिया गया- जिसका समाज और राजनीतिक दल में बड़ा नाम है।
भारी संख्या में पुलिस भेजने का कारण सिर्फ डराना और उत्पीड़न करना था।

👉 I would urge the Hon’ble Assam CM to reconsider his stand, irrespective of Monday’s outcome, especially in light of the remarks quoted in the judgment. The Supreme Court has cited several of his public statements, many of which are deeply inappropriate and lower the standards of our democracy.
👉 Most charges against Mr. Khera were bailable.
👉 In any democracy, space must be preserved for political dissent. Without that, the fundamental right to free speech is at serious risk.
