𝕏 launching Creator Connect is probably a much bigger deal than people realize. This could genuinely start killing a large part of the 3rd party KOL management industry. And honestly? Good. I’ve managed multiple KOL campaigns in crypto over the years, and one of the biggest problems in the industry is that a huge amount of marketing budget gets burned on fake influence. • Engagement groups. • Artificial numbers. • Botted interactions. • Creators with “big accounts” but no real audience attention. Not everyone, obviously. But way more than brands realize. Most campaigns end up delivering average results because brands are often choosing creators based on surface metrics instead of actual audience fit and cultural relevance. That’s why 𝕏 building an AI-native creator matching system makes so much sense. Instead of: “who has the biggest following?” the question becomes: “who actually influences this niche?” That changes everything. If the platform itself can understand: • audience overlap • conversation dynamics • real engagement • cultural positioning • niche influence • trend participation …then brands can finally match with creators that actually move attention inside specific communities. This is probably also why Nikita killed the “InfoFi” narrative last year. The moment platforms themselves become the infrastructure layer for: > attention >distribution > creator discovery > and monetization …a lot of middle-layer businesses start becoming less necessary. And overall, I think this is a step in the right direction. The future probably isn’t brands throwing money blindly at vanity metrics. It’s algorithmic matching between: • brands • narratives • communities • and creators with real influence. The platform where culture happens is now trying to become the platform where creator monetization happens too. That’s a massive shift.
