My first game made a bit over 1000 usd, and I think that's an accomplishment.

What do you guys think of my Turn-based spell launching game. It's a new game I'm working on called TinkerShot. It's inspired by Angry Birds, Slay The Spire, and Noita.

@CodeRed_dev Absolutely an accomplishment! I'm in the same boat my first game Foxfolk made about the same. It feels awesome to pay a couple bills and go out to dinner but gayuuddd I want this to be my full time gig! Keep it up though!!

@CodeRed_dev My first release, a stealth game called Cloak & Dagger: Shadow Operations, made around 500 usd and I'm satisfied with that considering how ambitious it was for my first title. Learned a lot working on it, enough to get me a full time freelance gig!

It's not, you should have made more. That's not a knock against you, that's a knock to this stupid fucking industry. There's a lot of money to go around, they chose to give that money to a bunch of ad majors and do nothing college grads over hard working game devs. It's fucking shameful what's become of gaming.
