@Duderichy Bruh.. my wife has been nagging me to buy plane tickets since they're going to get more expensive I'm about to be in big trouble

@Duderichy I'm probably in the minority here, but I think this is overblown. It's pretty common practice for airline finance/risk teams to buy call options on jet fuel for this exact reason.

@Duderichy I won't ever bother to fly to Japan anymore. From Poland flights needs to dodge like 5 countries and they were 1200+€ already. They will be over 2k soon. On the plus side maybe toursits will stop ruining Kyoto.

@Duderichy The yen is very low right now, so once you get there, you're good ^^ Although Japan in summer is really hot, so it's not the best time to visit. Autumn is really nice

@Duderichy well, I've bought tickets to Japan about 2 months ago. Checking today, the same dates in July are maybe 5% more expensive . Not a big deal
