Muslims often approach the Bible with a very surface-level mindset, as if they are reading the Quran.🤦‍♀️ For example, the man in this video read Zephaniah 3:9, where God promises to restore a “pure language” to the nations, and interpreted it literally as referring to a single spoken language. He then concluded that it points to Arabic, arguing that Muslims are united by praying in Arabic and reciting the Quran in Arabic. Instead of explaining why Islam requires Arabic prayer from their own theology, he immediately jump to twist a Bible verse to defend his position. This is exactly why Christians must be deeply grounded in Scripture. These guys are masters at twisting the Bible to suit their narrative. The truth about Zephaniah 3:9: “Pure language” here is figurative, not literal. God wasn’t promising to restore Arabic (or any single earthly language). Every language on earth is perfectly fine to God, none is superior to another. A single unified language for all humanity will only happen in heaven, not in this world. God deliberately created the diversity of languages for a purpose. Worshipping Him is not restricted to one language. Bible scholars understand this verse to mean that God will purify the nations by removing their false worship, lies, and idolatrous speech, so they can sincerely call upon His name with pure hearts. In other words, “pure language” points to: • Pure worship • Truthful speech • Sincere devotion • Lips no longer used for idols and false gods Our God is universal. He understands every language on earth. You don’t need to learn a special language before you can approach Him. He is Spirit, and He receives worship in spirit and in truth. Come as you are, He already knows your heart even before you speak. Christians, let’s read our Bibles properly. We cannot afford to be shallow when engaging with those who twist Scripture so easily.

@Ihunanya_chi You really do fear the spread of Islam because everyday you always have something to say about it! Yet shouldn't you be preaching that Jesus (peace be upon him) was like a lamb or something??

@MuslimgamerGb @Ihunanya_chi She can do both. It is no less important to teach against false religions, false prophets, and false idols.
