@christomasson The 30th pick in a weak draft - essentially a second round pick. And a 3rd round. 2026 cap number is friendly
English

@christomasson Draft point total Denver gave up = 708. That's between the 25th (720) and 26th (700) pick. Plus Miami eats a lot of salary this year.
Is that really a "boatload"?
English

@christomasson Denver should’ve just drafted Keon Coleman 2.0 or Xavier Leggette 2.0.
TAKE THE SURE THING EVERY TIME.
English

@christomasson @christomasson it sounds like a lot. But they improve their position in the 4th. Net pick value when you consider what they got back is around the 25th or 26th pick. That's not ridiculous for a really good receiver.
English

@christomasson Jimmy Cefalo sounds like a guy who has gotten too much sun on a boat. Basically a 2nd and a 3rd for a top WR on a good contract.
English

@christomasson A bad draft and a roster that even a good draft the #30 pick is going to struggle to get snaps. If it was the Chiefs, they would be calling it a master class.
English

@christomasson It's a bad draft. They aren't giving up much value at thirty.
English

@christomasson It is a bit of an overpay I feel, but one that Denver can afford
English

@christomasson The Broncos do not have many holes! Great addition for the offense👏👏
English

@christomasson Biggest coping mechanism knowing they don't have any weapons on offense and are in rebuild mode 🤣
English

@christomasson Kings ransom? Really? That was hardly anything. Think of it like they drafted Waddle with the 30th pick. Then just moved their 3rd back like 10 slots.
Not that much.
English

@christomasson X Factor is Denver will likely recoup a 2027 3rd rounder (as JFM comp) in a stronger draft - because it didn't sign a top UFA WR.
And remember who #Broncos last drafted when at 30th? Marcus Nash
Also: two high 4th-rounders (1 via Vele deal), mean Denver can get back in the 3rd
Denver, CO 🇺🇸 English

@christomasson Lol “king’s ransom”. Sounds like bitter radio guys knowing MIA will blow for at least 5 years.
English

@christomasson Rod Smith said likewise.
The moral of the story is:
Every low-drafted ex-WR thinks today’s WRs cost too much!
English

@christomasson Its a late 1 and a late 3. Its30th im each round. Basically a 2 and a 4. Get to pay him less than Alec Pierce got. Waddle 17 million this year. Wandale 17.5 mill per
Shaheed 17 million per and Doubs got 17 million per
English

@christomasson Stupid tag who are they gonna get a 30 that’s better so basically then you’ve given a third round pick because nobody at 30 is gonna be as good as waddle so this is a lame take!
