Today, as part of Economic Fury, Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control designated three Iranian foreign currency exchange houses and their associated front companies. Collectively, Iranian exchange houses facilitate billions of dollars in foreign currency transactions each year. Because Iran primarily settles its oil sales in Chinese yuan, these exchange houses play a critical role in converting oil revenues into currencies that are more readily useable by the Iranian military and its partners and proxies.

Der Mann links neben Yasser Arafat im beigen Mantel im Video ist Sadegh Tabatabaei. Ja, kein unbedeutender Statist. Er war einer der engsten Vertrauten von Ruhollah Khomeini, fungierte als Sprecher der Revolution und half dabei, Khomeinis Rückkehr nach Iran politisch und organisatorisch mit vorzubereiten.
Das Ergebnis kennt jeder Iraner: 47 Jahre Repression, Hinrichtungen und ein Regime, das Terror exportiert.
Sein Sohn @A_Tabatabai sitzt heute in deutschen Politik- und Medienkreisen und der wiederum bewegt sich auffällig nah an Leuten wie @DanielGerlach1 und @UN_PGA ist.

Adm. Brad Cooper, CENTCOM commander, visited USS Milius (DDG 69), May 2, as the guided-missile destroyer patrolled regional waters in support of the U.S. blockade operations against Iran. While on board, he interacted with Sailors and addressed them on the 1MC while highlighting the importance of the ongoing mission.
As of today, 49 commercial vessels have been redirected to comply with blockade. U.S. forces remain fully committed to total enforcement.
