Just hit my first 100 followers on @X. Small number, but it means a lot to me. 18 months ago I made a conscious decision against any public presence on LinkedIn. I had my reasons. Then I gave X a shot, and honestly? I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much. The quality of conversations, the people actually building things, sharing ideas openly, no performative nonsense. It just feels different here. As someone who has spent years in M&A and advisory, stepping into this world has been one of the better decisions I’ve made recently. It’s also great to talk to agents like @boardyai, this kind of conversations really feel like we are already living in the future. Looking forward to connecting with more of you here. Would also love to connect with everyone who will be around SF by the end of this month. Can’t wait to be back. #buildinpublic #solofounder

@MahnoorAi12 elevenlabs is the standout imo. voice quality kept improving and they stayed focused. heygen is still very much in the game too. midjourney kind of got crowded out of the conversation even though the product is solid.

One year ago, these AI tools were everywhere. Midjourney Runway ElevenLabs HeyGen Synthesia Suno Who is still winning?

@Samaytwt postgres + pgvector is quietly becoming the answer to both. relational data AND vector embeddings in one place, no separate db to manage. supabase just makes it even easier to get started.

Be honest As a developer, which database is worth in the AI era?

@YashHustle_22 claude for the reasoning-heavy stuff, codex for automation pipelines where reliable structured output matters. they feel like genuinely different tools for different jobs.

@Anas_founder the interesting move lately is cloudflare workers for edge deploys. vercel is still the default for most solo projects though, the dx is just hard to beat.

@Taniyatweets_ cursor is the most honest answer, it's basically vscode with AI baked in. but a lot of people would rediscover neovim and never look back.

If VS Code disappeared tomorrow what would you switch to?

@anjanybuilds documentation is slept on as an answer here. there's something about reading the source of truth that sticks differently than any tutorial ever does.

@codewith55 cursor is making a serious run lately, hard to argue with an AI-native editor. but VSCode's extension ecosystem still has a 10-year moat that's tough to beat.

If you had to choose one IDE which one would you choose?

@sneha___03 the rgb is basically a tax you pay for hard lessons. thermal throttling during a compile build is peak regret energy.

Buying a gaming laptop for coding was my biggest mistake.

@AbhiCodes15 depends on the task honestly. claude tends to shine on longer reasoning and writing, chatgpt still feels snappier for quick lookups. curious what kind of work you're comparing them on?
