@deangoodison How could he know that? Could have been a stoppage immediately after restart. Standard terminology is at least 3 minutes which could be 1 second less than 4. More important issue is that the Wexford camogie I knew would beat Clare with their 2nd team. Referee not your problem.
English

@1mgfc He said there are three minutes to go once we restart, nothing to do with how many added minutes there should or shouldn’t have been
English

@Paraic_Fanning Didn't see the game. Can you give specific examples of the rules he misinterpreted. We need hard facts if we want to improve matters.

@Toibin1 Difference is the house was built in breach of law while the proposed asylum centres will be built in accordance with law. Thought that as an experienced legislator you would have realised the distinction.

@DavQuinn Great to see. I'm afraid there was plenty spare space in the two churches I attended for Easter ceremonies
English

@AaronMaher95 Yes no matter what improvement is put in place the brains will subvert and return football to what it was previously. An awful prospect
English

Dublin did the same vs Mayo in 2017 and Donegal vs Dublin in 2011 so nothing new sadly
Not sure there's a rule that can be brought in to fix it and don't think there should be either as not sure how you would police it

New hooter, old hooter, referee’s whistle, foghorn, it doesn’t matter how a game of football ends, teams have learned to try and control the final few minutes. 2024 final, Galway kept ball for just under 3 mins before taking the shot. Ref’s whistle is so much less hassle.

@Toibin1 The restriction on peat harvesting is correct. Thanks for pointing out the extent of the imports which I hope now that you know about it you will introduce legislation to have the imports banned

Aontú research has shown that nearly 1,000 Tonnes of Peat Imported from Egypt in 2024 While Turf Cutting Restricted at Home.

@matt_hurley01 @tonyleen using the rule book, something rare in these discussions, showed that it was a 50m advance. I fear Sunday Game has been a rules free zone for years.

@GaelicStatsApp @m_brosnan Thank you very much. I'll take that as a compliment even if it is a while since I had anything to do with straw. All I chop now is the grass on our pitches

Eight observations🥳🥳
Why do teams use the box kickout? 📦
Sideline calls 📢
P. Clifford: 77 possessions, 0-3 scored, 0-6 assists. Lesson: Zonal defending doesn't work.
M. Langan, 47 possessions, 0-6 scored, 1-0 assists. Lesson: Man-on-man defending...

@DavQuinn @morningireland Media group think. Poor journalism. Not rigorous when it doesn’t suit them.

No challenging questions for Dr Peter Thorne of the Climate Change Advisory Council just now on @morningireland. Nothing about which climate scenario is most likely to occur, how much climate actions will cost the average person or how effective such policies might be?
English

@DavQuinn @morningireland China and India will emit all our carbon for us while we reap and sow in poverty.
English

@DavQuinn @morningireland Climate change will cost the average citizen a lot either in ignoring it or trying to counter it. There are no good options.
English

@DavQuinn @morningireland Didn't hear that but on the news tonight he was talking about the scenario that has occurred. It is not good.
English

@m_brosnan @GaelicStatsApp Some people have a very sad existence. They should get out more
English

@GaelicStatsApp As a score assist? Yeah, I would. The final attacking pass or play that leads directly to a score. I know the best GAA databases wouldn't just do score assists though, they do shots as well. That would be the pass leading to a shot or a free won that leads to a shot.

You pay income tax, USC and PRSI on every euro you earn just to save for the house.
You pay Stamp Duty when you finally buy it.
You pay Local Property Tax every single year just to own it.
Then, when you try to pass it to your children, they get hit with Capital Acquisitions Tax.
The same house gets taxed over and over again, from the day you earn your wage until after you die. The taxation never ends.
House and land ownership is the foundation of a free society. This isn't fair taxation. It's oppression.
