We have installed a technical update for #EscapefromTarkov. The game will not be stopped, but on updated servers, raid time may be reduced to 10 minutes.

So after some testing on the Tarkov update, my take aways from the attachment changes are: 1. Do not waste your roubles building you out your guns, the recoil is only going to be 10-20% better with a fully decked out - recoil build compared to stock. 2. Your stance and movement factor in HEAVILY how much recoil you'll have, mainly because of weapon sway. No matter the build, crouching not moving has VERY little recoil. Standing still and not moving is about the same as crouching and strafing. Standing and strafing is almost completely uncontrollable. 3. The guns feel uncontrollable and unpredictable. We need less RNG. 4. 1 shot weapons like lapuas, AK50s, RPG and grenade launchers are king. Don't have to deal with the messy recoil that way. I'll have a video out tomorrow night with some more thoughts and testing. On a plus note, showing the player KD on the stats screen is a good change. #tarkov

@MrBubblyTTV update: i debloated my pc and holy i have never seen tarkov this incredibly smooth.

@MrBubblyTTV i just turned off memory compression for ram and turned off core isolation in windows security and my game feels so smooth. The fps hit that happens in the begining of a raid hits harder, but its only like 2 seconds then ur good. and only happend twice so far.

these are scary settings - I need other AMD users to report back pls !!! 🤝

Ive ran into more cheaters in the past 2 days than I have all wipe.. Anyone else running into a lot of cheaters?

@KlemintimeTM @AbneyDude can u please make a short video on settings for tarkov. no explanation just direct af. u have alot of videos and idk which one to follow. especially for memory it has been horrendous this wipe for some reason.

@AbneyDude I'm working on this right now. Though it may seem that way, ultra feels even more intensive and memory hungry than the old high did. "Low" is definitely new, though, and my God does it look terrible.

If you noticed your Tarkov graphics look worse this wipe, it's probably because they added a new 'Ultra' texture Quality (Which I think is just the old 'High') I actually think they just added a new 'Low' and moved everything up a notch: Ultra -> Old High High -> Old Med Med -> Old Low Low (New)

@nikgeneburn i play labs with my friend, he gets reports for ppl banned, but i dont. even though i reported all sus deaths. had 1 message in like weeks

3.4 update with some changes in Arena just went live - improved movement with less inertia impact, reduced aimpunch and many other changes. Try it yourself and share feedback in replies!
