@SamD_dappy 100% Since Fonte/VVD we’ve been absolutely devoid of a decent experienced vocal centre half - too many high potential signings for the bank account who arguably would have fetched us more cash if they had someone to demand standards from them (Salisu/ABK come to mind)

The other is a quiet mouse, who although gives 100% effort and is a solid pro, does not command respect on the pitch as a captain. He’s a quieter version of JWP. The last proper captain we had was Jose Fonte to be quite honest. We are to soft as a club with accepting mediocre.

@AdamBlackmore Will Still imo needs to demand: A proper club captain - a leader, old head/ experienced, someone the club can look to, to hold club standards in training and more importantly on the pitch. He should be the first name on the team sheet every week without question.

@SimonHuntUKTN @lewis_goodall It’s not even a good graduate income tax given that if you come from a high income family, the fees will have been paid off and thus the vast majority of payments come from those on middle incomes. Levying an actual tax would bring in a ton more off of plenty of city traders!

It was an immense strategic victory for the coalition government to call them tuition fees, rather than a 15% graduate income tax. Because people now genuinely argue we have among the lowest income tax of big economies

Have said this before but these analyses always exclude tuition fees, which are a de facto income tax for everyone but the richest graduates. My top rate of income tax is 55%, not 40%, and it will continue to be until I turn 55.
