Dear God, I thank you that even when everything around me has failed me, you will never fail me. Father, in troubling times I ask that you strengthen me and give me the resolve I need to endure. I know that this tough time will pass and all will be well. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
主啊，祢是赐下真正丰富的源头，世上的金银财宝虽耀眼，却无法换得祢所赐的平安、喜乐、仁爱与信心；唯有祢的圣灵，能使干渴的灵魂得着永恒的满足。当我们为着祢国度的缘故，甘愿放下地上的拥有与短暂安逸时，我们深信祢必亲自记念，并在今生或永恒里赐下丰盛的赏赐。 1/2
Lord, you are the giver of true riches that money could never buy. Only you can give peace, joy, love, faith, and all of the fruits of the Spirit. And when we give up worldly possessions and comforts for the sake of advancing your Kingdom, we know you will reward us, either in this life or in the next. Help us to value the true and eternal riches more highly than the passing and deceitful riches of earth.

O Lord, we do not understand many things that happen to us in this life. But we know that while men freely choose to do evil and wrong others, they are not outside of your Providential rule of your creation. They only "bring" what you "sent," and we know that you work all of it together for the good of us your people and for your own everlasting glory. Therefore, we will not be discouraged amidst the wrongs done to us by others but will trust that "you meant it for good."
