🇯🇵The 160-Yen Ceiling: A Macro Perspective Japan is facing a critical juncture. With the country importing the vast majority of its energy and food, a Yen weaker than 160 risks a severe "cost-of-living crisis." Allowing the Yen to slide past 160 risks a total loss of confidence in the Japanese economy. The recent price action at 160.00 suggests the authorities are signalling a strong commitment to preventing a currency collapse. My outlook for USDJPY: I would be interested to see a sweep on previous daily high and how price reacts from there if it forms a reversal to take out liquidity below. Trading within a consolidation. Target shorter term objectives, as this phase of price does not support expansion. The market reversed directly after I TP’d at an internal level. :)
